STL won its 5th straight and first over the Cowboys since 1970. Dallas rallied from a 28-14 second half deficit to tie the game at 28 with 3:51 to go. But Metcalf returned the ensuing kickoff 57 yards to set up Jim Bakken's game-winning 31 yard fg with 1:02 remaining. Jim Hart passed for two tds in the victory.
